Not having found satisfaction in my job so far, I was looking for a new challenge that ought to match my idea of creativity. Finally, I found back to the construction of model cars – an activity which had been one of my favourites since my youth and I focussed mainly on remote-controlled model helicopters. Moreover, I started developping a competitive electric Speed Car that arrived at a speed of 163,3 km/h. This successful piece of work inspired me at last to train as a CNC Programmer/Machinist and a CAD Operator to start up my own business in model making.

Todd Commons from the QMDRA ran a 1.275s pass in his Litespeed Electric Extreme Dragster on 4s making it the quickest pass in Australia.

Insane Speed Run-April 25th @ Encino Velodrome

The first event of the 2009 ISC season will be at the Encino Velodrome April 25th, 2009. This is how R/C speed runs started in the late 1980's. They weren't straight line events like in '06,'07 and '08. Here is a Montage of Clips - of the 1990 & 1992 R/C Thunderdromes

DJ said this about his equipment:

but revamping to do 100+
120 is the goal.

DJ is almost at Sunny's record of 90 mph. Sunny currently has the fastest Traxxas Rustler in the world:

HPI brushless cyclone 12 fast speed car project

Check out this wild HPI stretched cyclone. There aren't any specs on the car or how fast it was going in the video. This is definitely a cool project.
